Dr. Bojan Vršnak on the list of top 2% most cited scientists worldwide

Great news are coming from Standford University (California) where John Ioannidis and his associates recently released study that identified the top 2% of the world’s working scientists in regard to scientific citation. Among the around 160 000 most cited researchers worldwide in all scientific disciplines there are 47 scientists from Croatia (list is available here), 23 of them from University of Zagreb and, no more no less, our colleague Dr. Bojan Vršnak is also one of them.
The list of top 2% scientist worldwide was generated using Scopus database for period from 1996 to 2019 based on citations, h-index, co-authorship-adjusted hm-index, citations to papers in different authorship positions and a composite indicator. A list of the most impacting scientists in 2019. was published in the study as well.
