Hvar Observatory also hit by earthquake in Zagreb

Beside the recent coronavirus pandemic issues and restrictions that were introduced also in Croatia by the mid of March, on 22nd March 2020 at 6:25 AM Zagreb was hit by powerful 5.5 magnitude earthquake with epicentre close to Zagreb city centre. This was the strongest earthquake in Zagreb in the last 140 years and caused severe damage in historical city centre. The Faculty of Geodesy building where Hvar Observatory offices are situated was also impacted. Few pictures after the Zagreb earthquake are available here.
