2nd ESPD summerschool will be in hybrid form. Due to capacity limits of the classrooms and the dormitory the number of students attending in-person is limited to 30-40 students. Students attending in person will be selected according to the application form here.
Registration will open after the application process is finished and will be opened to both those attending in person and online. Late online participation registrations will be possible. Registration fees are 150 EUR for in-person attendance and 50 EUR for online attendance. Note that the financial support was applied to reduce fees and further financial support is not possible. All students attending in person are expected to cover the expenses of travel, accommodation and registration fee. Registration fees: 150 EUR in-person, 50 EUR online.
In-person attendance registration fee includes:
- Coffee breaks (coffee, tea, cookies)
- Lunches/dinners
Are organised at the Venue and are included in the registration fee, however, they are not mandatory and all participants will be asked to checkbox if they wish to have lunch/dinner next day on a day-to-day basis to avoid unecessary waste of food. - Welcome reception - 26.04.2026, 19:00 h

SCIENTIFIC ORGANIZERS – ESPD board
The European Solar Physics Division (ESPD) of the European Physical Society (EPS) represents and provides a forum for European scientists, primarily, and any scientist, secondarily, interested in aspects of the physics of the Sun. The objective of the ESPD is the advancement of the study of the Sun, the dissemination of key results of solar physics research to the general public, and the promotion and coordination of such research with other areas and branches of the physical sciences.
