WP5: Search for exoplanets and/or sub-stellar companions

WP5 is devoted to detection and confirmation of exoplanets and substellar companions, focusing on circumbinary objects. Photometric measurements performed by HO 1-m and 65-cm telescope are used to perform timing of the eclipses in a number of selected binary stars within the scope of the DWARF program. Spectroscopic measurements with the Echelle Spectrograph of the Gothard Astrophysical Observatory attached to the Hvar 1-m telescope (see WP3) are used to confirm the planetary nature of massive hot Jupiters around bright stars and uncover false transiting candidates, e.g., systems with double stars, M and L dwarfs etc.
